Cavendry began as a single engraving — a man, a suit, a horse mid-stride — cut into a copper plate in a room above a saddlery. Everything the house has made since is held to that drawing: small objects, worked with the discipline of a full coat.

The house crest, embossedThe crest was cut before there was a company to put it on. It set the terms the house still works to — a line held at full speed, nothing decorative that isn't also structural. Every piece since has been drawn against it.
Bridle Leather Belt, brass buckleThree lines, chosen because each is carried daily and each is usually made badly. Full-grain bridle hide that darkens rather than cracks. Combed cotton ribbed to hold a cuff for years. The list is short on purpose.
We would rather make three things properly than thirty things quickly.
The house, on why the list is short
Saddle Fold Wallet, crest embossedEach piece is stamped with the same hand that drew the crest, then finished by people who are named on the ticket. We make in small runs and let a line sell out rather than thin it.
Every crest is struck from the plate the house was drawn on.
A line sells out rather than being thinned to meet demand.
Named on the ticket, by the bench that made it.
